“Chic” is an 11 year old stallion, son of the
legendary Smart Chic Oleana (7 million dollar sire). He is out of and
Elderberry Ace mare that has produced 7 NRHA money earners. Chic has 3 NRHA
Hall of Famer’s in his pedigree. He is a NRHA money earner and AQHA point
earner! His earnings do not reflect is
real talent. (His last two owners (for 7
years) were rookies learning the art of reining on him). He is
quiet, intelligent, and incredibly athletic, and has passed those traits on to
his foals. His first foals turn 2 years
old in 07. Chic is being offered for sale as a breeding stallion. He had an
injury to the coffin joint on his left front foot and has some scarring in the
joint. He has very mild lameness in the left front foot at times. He can be
ridden – See recent video. The vet said his problem should not worsen if used
as a breeding stallion or just turned out. With injections or nerving he would
be sound enough to show but would be at risk for re-injury. “Chic” would be an
awesome addition to any Performance horse breeding program! He is a huge stopper and does all reining
maneuvers pretty. He stands 15.2 hands high. We are first time stallion owners
and have gotten along with him very easily. We are cutting back from 11 horses
to just a couple. Check out his 2 yr old foals on our site.
